Far from artistic studies, in 2000 born a true love for contemporary art, but just as an observer.
In 2004 he starts to paint in self-taught way after radical changes in his life and after a travel to New York City.
Here he falls in love with works of artists of leading importance like Robert Rauschenberg, Mark Rothko, Julian Schnabel and J. M. Basquiat. He also approached to other european artists like Antonì Tapiès and Alberto Burri.
The name Tu Mazu come from a project with his older brother for a brand of design, but once that he used it to sign his first painting it is remained on all the following artworks.
Since the end of 2010 he settles down in Paris for personal reasons. Here he finds an ideal housing environment for his art thanks to the great cultural melting pot .
To the question "What would you like to do when you will be a man?" he answered when he was 8 years old "a painter or a thief". "In a way I feel to do both things,…I paint by "stealing", to myself and to other people who surrounds me, some truths that we rarely can't discover in surface".
My works born from my experiences, from my state of mood, from a feeling and above all from the necessity to express all that i can't communicate with words, from the uncontrollable desire to know the most intimate part of my personality and that of all the people i meet, from the necessity to give back images of the deepest thoughts.
why the black and white to represent the people? I find in the black and white the simplest and direct way to remember that we are all the same maintaining our native lines
